I grew up on a street where neighbours looked after each other — and after 40 years of asking questions for a living, I'm running for CNV Council to help this city do the same.
For the past few years, I’ve spent my time reading this city’s budgets, decisions and plans — the documents behind the headlines. I found a City that can do big things, but often decides the big things before listening to the people who’ll live with them.
I’m running for a way of deciding — define the goal, look at the evidence, be honest about who pays, and account for the result. That’s a Vital North Vancouver: a city where the small things work and the big decisions make sense. Where we’re serious about Safety, Economy and Family — and where Trust, Accountability and Transparency aren’t slogans, but how business gets done.
I also have the experience and temperament to know that you don’t get your way by being the loudest voice. Be one prepared, reasonable vote — and build six others. One vote of seven.
