Trish Neufeld

I’m running for School Trustee because because I’ve spent years volunteering in our schools, including serving as PAC Chair at Westview Elementary and previously as a Big Sister. I’ve had the opportunity to work with parents, teachers, principals and district staff. I’ve seen how much can be accomplished when people listen to each other and work toward a common goal.

My career as a mortgage broker has also shaped how I approach problems. Every day I help people navigate complicated decisions. I listen to what matters to them, explain their options and help them find solutions that work. I’ve learned to ask questions, look at the details and take responsibility for the decisions I make.

I don’t have all the answers but I know that good decisions start with listening to different perspectives, finding common ground and keeping students at the centre of the conversation.

I would be honoured to bring that approach to the Board and advocate for our community to ensure our strategic direction aligns with our shared vision.
