Dan Anderson is running for District Council because our community deserves responsible growth, accountable government, and infrastructure that keeps pace with development.
A lifelong North Shore resident, Dan lives in Seylynn with his beloved Labrador retriever, Nietzsche. He holds graduate degrees in Developmental Psychology and Education and is the co-founder of the Thinking Playground, a summer camp that helps children and youth develop critical-thinking skills.
For the past four years, he has served on the North Vancouver School Board, where he chaired the Audit Committee and helped rebuild the Board’s strategic reserves. Dan also serves as the spokesperson for the North Shore Neighbourhoods Alliance, a coalition of seven community associations seeking an independent, public inquiry into the Wastewater Treatment Plant project.
