Kulvir Mann

For the past 25 years, I have been proud to call the District of North Vancouver home. As a mother of two young adults, I am deeply grateful that our family has had the opportunity to live, grow, and build lasting connections here on the North Shore.

For the past eight years, I have had the privilege of serving as an elected North Vancouver School Board Trustee. In this role, I have advocated for students & families while working collaboratively with school district staff, the Ministry of Education, families, partner organizations, and our broader community. Community service has been an important part of my life for more than two decades. Over the years, I have been honored to serve on the boards of NVDPL, NS Disability Resource Centre, NV Band & Strings Parent Association, NS Safety Council & Presentation House Theatre. I have also volunteered with and participated in committees & initiatives involving the NS Women’s Centre, NS Family Services, NS Restorative Justice Society, MONOVA, Impact NS, Kelty Mental Health, NS Table Matters and Cops for Cancer. These experiences—as a trustee, volunteer, parent, and resident—have given me the opportunity to listen to people from across our community, understand different perspectives, build relationships, and work collaboratively toward practical solutions. They have also reinforced my belief that our community is strongest when we work together.

Every voice deserves to be heard. I believe in accountability, strong leadership, collaboration, and responsible decision-making that puts the best interests of District residents first.
