Mike Boehm

My name is Mike Boehm and I am honored to be a candidate as a School Trustee in North Vancouver School District. I have been a North Vancouver District resident for close to 40 years and all four of our children were students with the School District in Elementary, French Immersion and High Schools.

I have been actively involved in a number of organizations related to children including President of Highlands Little League, North Shore Girls Softball, Director of Canuck Place; previous Chair of North Vancouver Chamber of Commerce as well as Not For Profit organizations including Chair of North Shore Community Foundation and a current director of The Hollyburn Society.

Over the years I have also coached various youth sports teams including baseball, softball, hockey and football. In May 2024 I was presented a District of North Vancouver Community Service token of appreciation.

I am a firm believer of listening, open communication and collaboration and believe my skillset and experience developed over the years would be an asset to the School District at all levels namely administration, teachers and support staff, students and parents.

I have long maintained in "giving back to the community to make our community better tomorrow than it was yesterday" and on Saturday October 17 I hope to receive your support. In my professional career, I was most recently Vice President, Business Development with KPMG
