Personally Invested: With 4 young children in (or about to enter) the North Van public school system, I am personally committed to ensuring our schools provide excellent educational experiences in the long-term. I also have an up-close understanding of the realities families experience as they navigate the system.
High Quality Education I want to help reduce the burden of inefficient processes and unnecessary administration so teachers and staff can maximize the time and energy they spend providing high quality educational experiences for our children.
I want to give back by contributing to a strong, effective, and forward-looking public school system for the next generation.

Community Experience: I have served on non-profit boards supporting children and volunteered with several community-based organizations on the north shore. I know what it looks like to work collaboratively, balance competing priorities, allocate limited resources, and make decisions in the best interests of the broader community.
High Quality Education I want to help reduce the burden of inefficient processes and unnecessary administration so teachers and staff can maximize the time and energy they spend providing high quality educational experiences for our children. I was lucky to grow up in North Van and attend school in the district. School fairs, sports days, and family dances created happy memories as well as a strong sense of community. I want to give back by contributing to a strong, effective, and forward-looking public school system for the next generation.
