My priorities are student and staff well-being, inclusive learning, support for diverse learners, Truth and Reconciliation, responsible use of technology and innovation, fiscal responsibility, sustainability, and effective governance.
My experience in higher education and public-sector leadership has reinforced the importance of sound governance, and stewardship of public resources.
Schools & education
Over the past eight years, I have worked with students, families, educators, staff, and community partners to support student success, strengthen public education, and advance equitable learning opportunities. I am seeking re-election because I believe in the value of public education and the role our schools play in helping every student reach their full potential. While we have made meaningful progress, important work remains.

North Vancouver has much to be proud of in its public education system, and I look forward to building on that success. I remain committed to bringing people together and supporting the well-being and growth of every student.

It has been an honour serving as a School Trustee with the North Vancouver Board of Education since 2018, including as Vice-Chair and Board Chair.
Over the past eight years, I have worked with students, families, educators, staff, and community partners to support student success, strengthen public education, and advance equitable learning opportunities. I am seeking re-election because I believe in the value of public education and the role our schools play in helping every student reach their full potential. While we have made meaningful progress, important work remains.
My priorities are student and staff well-being, inclusive learning, support for diverse learners, Truth and Reconciliation, responsible use of technology and innovation, fiscal responsibility, sustainability, and effective governance. I am Interim Associate University Librarian, Collections, at the University of British Columbia and an Honorary Lecturer at the Allard School of Law. My experience in higher education and public-sector leadership has reinforced the importance of sound governance, and stewardship of public resources. It has also strengthened my appreciation for the role public education plays in student success.
North Vancouver has much to be proud of in its public education system, and I look forward to building on that success. I remain committed to bringing people together and supporting the well-being and growth of every student. I would be honoured to continue serving North Vancouver.
